Over the years, JMU Law Firm has acquired considerable experience in the energy sector, both by advising some of the largest Italian and foreign companies, and by assisting them in the drafting of partnership and joint venture agreements, mergers and acquisitions, short-term partnerships, supply of products and services, etc.

In the Oil & Gas sector, the Firm assists both in the negotiation of supply contracts for turbines and compressors for major companies in the sector and in the actual construction or installation of plants, with the necessary set of contracts and assistance also on site.

In the Renewable Energy sector, and in particular in the development of projects for parks or individual plants for the production of electricity from hydroelectric, wind and solar sources, the Firm's activities include legal and tax advice in the business plan phase, assistance in the administrative procedure for the granting of authorisation for the construction and commissioning of the plant (Autorizzazione Unica), to the concessions and agreements with the Public Administration or the GSE, to the contracts for the procurement and supply of the plant components, to the sale of the energy produced or the exchange on-site, to the assignment of credits under guarantee, up to the eventual ownership of the plant as a company (or branch) or as an asset.
